The POS (Point Of Sale) Data Logger is similar to a portable magneticstripe reader in that it logs data and can be used for memory back-up in case of power failure. This device quickly connects in-line on the POS terminal. We're sure you have seen these POS terminals in just about EVERY store & some terminals have a computer-like keyboard with a built-in credit card reader, others have a separate credit card reader and some even have a credit card reader with a PIN pad where you enter your PIN # if you are using a debit card. This device logs approximately15,000 card swipes / data in itsGIANT MEMORY. It grabs the ENTIRE contents of all data passing through the terminal including credit card or debit card #, expiration date, discretionary data,etc., along with PIN # (if Pin pad is used). It appears like an ordinary RFI suppressor commonly found on many cables plugged into these machines. We have two versions. The PS2 / AT / XT Version will work on ANY POS machine that connects to a PC via the PS2, AT, XT port. The USB Version will work on many POS machines that connect to a PC via the USB port. Data is read from the card and stored into memory. It can then be downloaded to a computer where the stored data can be viewed. 
This easy to install compact Portable Magnetic Card Reader connects to a PDA / Pocket PC through the CF card interface  (PDA not included but can be purchased cheaply on Ebay). To install, just plug in the Portable Card Reader into the CF card slot on a PDA or Pocket PC. Next, install the software by way of data synchronization to the PDA. Software and instructions are included.
